Read the care label before washing. Hand washing in cool water with a mild detergent is often the safest choice for lingerie, particularly pieces with lace, hardware, appliqué, or delicate straps. Avoid wringing the fabric. Press out excess water gently, then lay the item flat or hang it to dry away from direct heat.
